Welcome to Dragonfly Herbals & Reiki.... my name is Lin, I have been studying herbs, growing them, wildcrafting herbs, and making herbal remedies since the 1980's. My business is located on Vancouver Island, at the south end of Nanaimo. I welcome new students.

In 1998, I received my Bachelor's Degree in Natural Healing with the Clayton College.
I graduated from the Australasian College of Herbal Studies in June 2003, with a 2 year Master Herbalist Degree & wrote my thesis on Herbal Healing for Dogs.
I started my company, Dragonfly Herbals, in 2001, and have worked with clients both over the internet & locally. I worked mainly with wellness consultations for many years. I have now changed the focus of my business to teaching.
I am mainly teach herbal classes & reiki classes.
Received my Reiki Master/Teacher certificate in 2006. I teach 3 types of reiki, using Usui reiki as the foundation.
The body is a self sustaining, wonderfully regenerating organism that wears out due to high levels of physical, mental, emotional & spiritual toxicity. This toxicity comes through diet negative thinking poor quality relationships and disempowering belief systems. Detoxification (letting go) at all levels heals all things.

reiki, raw food, and learning to use herbs & vibrational essences.
Reiki is not just for those who want to work on clients, it is often just used for personal growth, and to accelerate your own healing. Having your reiki gives clarity about your life's path, and accelerates your ability to manifest what you would like in your life, while releasing what is no longer serves you.
Is is hard to learn reiki? You do not have to "learn" how to do reiki, the ability to channel the energy is simply passed on to your by an attunement given by the reiki teacher. Most people can feel the energy they are channeling right away, everyone is able to channel the energy as soon as they receive an attunement.
Level 1 reiki gets you started by gently opening up your energy field to channel reiki energy. Giving & receiving sessions & working on yourself, plus the attunements from level 1 begin to clear your old 'stuff', helping you to heal & move forward on your life's path.
With level 2 reiki, the energy you channel increasing significantly. Probably about 10 times what you could channel with level 1. Your personal clearing increases, and your vibrational level raises, as well as your energy field's ability to hold higher vibrations. You will begin to be able to manifest more that you want to bring into your life. Giving & receiving sessions will increase this.
If you decide to work with the seichim reiki energies between getting your level 2 Usui reiki & your master level, you will be working on a deeper level with different energies. I feel that Usui reiki is a fixed set of vibrations, while seichim opens you up to the ever increasing & changing vibrations coming to earth at this time. This type of reiki knits together your energy field & balances your chakras, while opening the heart chakra, it creates increased ability to remain grounded & not let other's negative energies affect you. Each attunement allows you channel energies you can most use, and seems to significantly increase personal creativity & sense of well being. I have been working with seichim for several years now, giving & receiving attunements & sessions, it seems to change each time I work with it, and has brought significant changes to my life & energy field & vibrational levels.
I teach an 8 month herbalist course designed for those
who want to know about medicinal herbs in depth, to work with family or
clients or pets.
I sometimes offer 3 day herbal classes for those who want to learn the basics of harvesting wild herbs, and using dried herbs to make tinctures, medicinal teas, and salves. If you have a group of 3 or more people interested in taking a 3 day herbal contact me & we'll set up dates during the summer to do this.
Occasionally I offer a body products class for learning soap making, face cream, body cream, and lip stuff.
This is one of the grosebeaks who comes to our feeder, there's 3 pairs of them this year.
$10 for a 10 ml blend of essences dropper
bottle, for physical & emotional balancing. These are especially useful
after a reiki session. These remedies work really well for cats &
dogs as well as people.
I offer workshops on vibrational essence making & this is taught on a deeper level during my Advanced Herbalist course.
