As most of us know, the Chakras are energy centers. For those of us who do reiki the Chakras offer more ways to clear the energetic body. During the Personal Healing Course that I offer, we begin with level 1 reiki which opens your energy field up to clearing dense & tangled energies, old emotions & behaviors & physical ailments.

After level 1 reiki my students have the option to continue with monthly classes focusing on one chakra each month, beginning with the root chakra. During the personal healing course we look at each chakra in depth, and use herbs. vibrational essences, healing stones & reiki sessions to clear each one.

Myself & my students are finding this course very powerful in terms of healing, clearing & moving on.

This course is more than what it seems in terms of healing on a deep level. You will be working in a very focused way on clearing & balancing one chakra at a time.

Here's a little bit of information on each chakra, and some ways to bring balance to them.

This is the most basic of all the energy centres, it influences our need for survival, security and belonging. This energy centre grounds us with the physical presence of the earth and is associated with the colour red. When the root chakra is in balance we are able to feel our connection to all things natural and of the earth.

    The sacral chakra is believed to influence our emotions, sexual energy and creativity. Linkages for the sacral chakra include our reproductive systems, water and our creativity. It is linked to the colour orange and when balanced this chakra allows us to become open, inviting and friendly.

      Personality, our feelings of identity, self-esteem, our passion for life and control over our own destiny are said to be controlled and formulated through the solar plexus chakra. The colour yellow is used to represent the solar plexus chakra and it is linked to the fire element. Balancing this chakra can provide a sense of inner peace and  tolerance for diversity in others.

        Our feelings and emotions are developed and processed through the heart chakra. This includes our ability to feel tenderness, bitterness, courage, vulnerability, forgiveness and hurt among many others. The element of air and the colour green are linked to this chakra. When this chakra is balanced you may have a better understanding and acceptance of your life and the relationships you develop.

          The heart chakra is one of the most important chakras for those who practice reiki, because an open heart allows for greater ability to transmit universal energies.
          It is extremely important for reiki practitioners & teachers to open up their heart chakra & the high heart. The heart chakra plays a significant role in circulating energy throughout the body. 

           Psychologically, energy blockages manifest themselves as interpersonal difficulties. People with blockages have difficulty connecting with others. They cannot "give their heart" to others.  As a result, they may be very lonely.  They may feel isolated and are often perceived as distant and cold.
          By opening and clearing the heart chakra, the body, mind, and spirit will have an better chance of self healing. 
          As universal life energy radiates throughout the body, a reiki practitioner will experience an enhanced form of Reiki healing when their heart chakra is open.
          It is helpful to do reiki often on your heart chakra & push the symbols into that area.

          Through the throat chakra we communicate our emotions and thoughts to others. The colour light blue and an element known as ‘ether’ (the nothing that connects everything) are linked to this chakra. Balancing this chakra can provide you with an ease of communication and expressiveness you did not think you could posses.

            • Are you about to communicate your emotions appropriately?
            • Are you able to communicate your thoughts coherently to others?

             

            THIRD EYE CHAKRA * THIRD EYE CHAKRA * THIRD EYE CHAKRA *

            The third eye chakra is linked to our intuition, the colour indigo and it is believed to link to all the elements. Through balancing our third eye chakra we can connect with Higher Power or to universal consciousness. We become more aware of our spiritual nature and can learn to trust our intuition.

              • Are you open to receiving intuitive messages?
              • Do you trust in messages you receive?
              • Are they accurate, or are you able to interpret the symbolism in these messages?

              Issues with the crown chakra deal with our life’s purpose, connections with the universal source of energy, spiritual growth, conscience, issues of karma. By receiving reiki healing, and by receiving attunements you can hope to increase your spiritual growth, connect with the universal source of energy, and release issues related to karma.
